Our Mission
We strive to achieve our mission by providing programs that:
FEED – EDUCATE – EMPOWER Women and vulnerable children.
OUR VISION
Our vision is to create educated, empowered and productive communities in Malawi and to provide an opportunity for Africans to help Africans.
OUR VALUES
We work in solidarity with community leaders to ensure development is relevant to people’s lives and therefore sustainable.

FEED
- Providing 3 nutritious meals a week to 350+ beneficiaries.

EDUCATE
- 850+ children reached through after school tutoring.
- 60+ 3-4 year-olds in Early Childhood Education classes.
- 40 Scholarships for gifted Kwithu CBO children to MIA.

EMPOWER
Kwithu is now supporting 5 women's groups with various income- generating activities, including financial literacy training to improve the outcome for financial sustainability.

As I reflect on the impact we have made in our community, I am grateful for the tireless efforts of our volunteers, staff and partners. Founded in 2004 by 20 women, Kwithu CBO in northern Malawi has undergone remarkable growth, evolving from feeding 20 orphans weekly in a thatched hut to feeding 350 children weekly and positively impacting over 23,000 individuals in Luwinga ward.
